Expanding Access to Safe Water and Sanitation

CMMB South Sudan provides clean water, improved sanitation, and hygiene education to vulnerable women, children, and their communities.

In South Sudan, an alarming 59% of the population lacks access to safe water. With few available hand-washing stations, healthcare workers struggle to avoid infections. Waterborne illnesses like diarrhea spread quickly, devastating communities that already struggle with malnutrition.

CMMB South Sudan is working to make a difference in water access, proper sanitation, and healthy hygiene. We use innovative solar panel technology to provide clean water access to thousands of people. We also improve handwashing facilities and educate people on the hazards of open defecation. By providing safe water for communities and improving access to basic sanitation, we help people stay healthy.
