1.4M people were reached with access to health and other life-changing services in FY 2024. With your help, we distributed medical donations, delivered healthcare, and deployed volunteers.
CMMB’s commitment to accountability is reflected in two transformative initiatives in Kenya and Peru. In Kenya, our partnership with the Kitui County Ministry of Health & Sanitation is ensuring a sustainable future for community health promoters, now part of a government-compensated workforce serving nearly 360,000 people. In Peru, our efforts to reduce childhood anemia have expanded nationwide, with 18,000 government-supported health promoters using our learning guide to share vital health practices with families at risk.
Despite relentless gang violence in Haiti, CMMB and Hope for Haiti worked together to ensure lifesaving medical supplies reached those in need. Through innovative collaboration, including air transport, critical medications reached patients like Julien, proving that even in the most challenging conditions, generosity and partnership can save lives.
CMMB’s maternal waiting homes and dedicated community health workers ensure safe deliveries for mothers like Brenda, whose high-risk pregnancy was identified in time for a life-saving C-section. Thanks to CHAMPS, more women are accessing early antenatal care, transforming maternal health outcomes and saving lives.
More than a century later, volunteerism—focused on respect and compassion—remains a core part of CMMB’s mission.
